Kuntala Waterfalls
Kuntala Waterfall is located in Kuntala, Adilabad district, Telangana.
It is located on Kadem river in Neredigonda mandal. It is the highest waterfall in the state of Telangana with a height of 147 feet (45 meters)
Formed by Kadam River, Kuntala falls cascades down through two steps and can be seen as two separate adjacent falls after the peak rains. It is one of the famous one day outings from Hyderabad. There is a motorable road till the entry point of falls from where steps are available to reach bottom of falls. The falls is about 10 minutes (one way) walk from the entry point.
We started our trip around 9.30 morning and reached the water fall around 12.30. It took three hours to reach the place. We went through Hyderabad-Nagapur highway road.
We reached the water fall around 12.30PM. There is heavy security before entering to this Kuntala village. Once reached the top, we parked our car.
The water fall sound increased our curiosity more. There is steps are available to reach the bottom of the waterfall place. It was very deep one.
We reached that bottom of the waterfall. There were enough crowd. Drinks strictly prohibited.

Lakshmi Narsimhaswamy Temple - M. Turakkapally
While browsing the places in Google maps, noticed a temple located on top of a hill. So decided to go there. Its a rainy Sunday, we started our trip towards that place with the help of "Google Thalli"☺.
It was marked as 'Laxmi Narasimhswamy' Temple in Google Maps. We took a right from Shamirpet ORR junction. A slight drizzling make us very comfortable and the climate was so good. Also the Bonalu festival is celebrated across the Telangana state.
The road is very neat no traffic. The recent rains in this regions make the nature completely green.
We reached the temple around 12.30, this temple is located near to the Kesera-Yadagirikutta road.
Initially we struggled to find the way to reach the top of the hill., later we found a rough way to find the entrance. We saw only 3 aged people sitting near to the temple entrance. They told us that the priest just left the temple after morning pooja. So nobody was there in that temple.
So, we started climbing each steep steps. My driver able to walk fast, he is 50Kg weight only ., I am 95+ So it tough for me to climb, but the eagerness to see the god make me to walk fast.

Shamirpet Lake
Today we went to Shamirpet Lake, which is 30 Km away from Hyderabad. Many times I crossed this lake but today got some time to explore this place.
Shamirpet has become a hotspot in the city with several resorts coming up in the vicinity. The lake itself has become a popular place to spend evenings, bird watching and for the more adventurous rock climbing.
Recent rains in this region increased the water level of this Lake. There are some narrow paths if you drive carefully means then you can park your car near to the lake bed.
It was wonderful experience when we heard the sounds of waves hit the rocks., it was amazing. All your stress, unnecessary worries will go away when you visit these kind of god's own places.

BaddiPadaga Village
All week I was trying to figure out what I should do this weekend. You see, when you don't know what you like to do, it's really hard to decide what to do. There are so many things I want to try. I woke up this morning and the weather was so nice I knew that whatever I was going to do, I wanted to be outside.
Every week used to go there and get blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. Also I like the Pulihora Prasadham, it is so tasty, you can't get that taste anywhere.
A good thing is, inside the temple, there is a children park avaialble, so kids used to enjoy there much.
After Dharshan decided to go a long drive, So we continue our tip towards Siddipet. Once crossed Siddipet, we took some different direction towards inside villages. Finally reached a place where this temple was located. Later we came to know that the place name is Baddipadaga.
BaddiPadaga Village
Baddipadaga is a large village located in Nangnoor of Medak district, Telangana. This is about 115 KM away from State capital Hyderabad. We roam around in and out of this village and mesmerized by the surroundings. Finally we reach a place where we saw a temple on top a hill. Even thought there is no proper route my talented driver safely drove the car near to the temple.
Look like this temple was very ancient one. The main god is Lord Shiva. When I checked with some elders they said it is Rajanna temple.
I don't have enough information about this place., when I checked in youtube, I found the following link. This may helpful for some tourists.
Shanigaram Village
This is one of my best and favorite place in Telengana. In my earlier visit, I stumbled upon by locality of this place., it was full of greeneries, mountains and lakes. So decided to have a second trip to that place.
Around 2.30 PM started from Bowenbally, and on the way, had enough snacks to keep my momentum in peek. The Hyderabad to KarimNagar Highway is too good, the road is very neat and smooth.
Reached Shanigaram around 5.30 PM in short period of time (thanks to my driver., actually he is an auto driver).
Shanigaram Lake is a vast one, with the recent rain, it was filled completely. The dam on that lake was built in Nizam period and recently Telengana Government started a project called 'Shanigaram Reservoir Project'. Shanigaram Village is just 25KM away from Siddipet and 125KM away from Hyderabad.

But now having a decent high end phone, willing to share some pretty good quality pictures.
While roaming around that Shanigaram lake, we have noticed a small temple under a King's tree., seems it was not maintained properly. Also there is no proper way to go inside that temple.,it was partially blocked and due to fear of snakes, we didn't try to go inside.
Exact opposite to this temple., a completely destroyed mandapa was present. The pillars are carved with some beautiful designs. Not sure why the people not showing any interest to save that temple or reconstruct it.
There are some stones have the god images which are completely abandoned. Its look like Maha Vishnu's carving.
Under this tree only the temple is located. The tree is so big one. I have asked few elders who crossed that temple., they said the main god was 'Bhimeswara'., a Siva avatar. They said that no one is willing to construct because of the bad elements are thieves around the area prohibiting those initiatives.
The following map showing the exact location of this place. You can see that big tree in this satellite image.
